Someone signing up just to advertise a link = spam; but a regular poster doing the same thing = informative. Similarly I think the no post count in C&G was relevant back when it was put in place but not so much nowadays - it's the most active section of the forum, I believe, when BB isn't on, and perhaps it's even still the most active section (or at least, one of) when it is on. Seems mad that the rule is still there.

The thing that I don't understand is how the Websites forum is locked. It was supposedly to stop people advertising their own forums and blogs and stuff - but I regularly do that with mine in the music section, and it's spilled over into Chat and Games with people going LOOK AT THIS HILARIOUS WEBSITE WHERE YOU CAN PAINT CATS PINK or whatever.
I still don't think chat-threads should count though... they're more of a social networking purpose than a forum messaging one.
