There is a difference between being a tomboy and a girl/woman behaving in a masculine manner. I see a tomboy as a young girl/woman who isn't scared of getting a bit of dirt under her finger nails. Perhaps a sporty type (not excluding 'girlie girls' from that completely, Flojo anyone?). Will playfight, join in the pranks, go fishing and hook the bait themselves etc. I see that in Lauren. I just don't see a masculine side to her at all.
