He's a good man with a sense of fairness, we saw this right at the beginning when he was the only HM to tell ALL those who didnt know that they could speak about noms.

It looked very silly Luke A getting all sarky with Ash and then end up giving her in the end. She didn't learn anything, he just came off as pathetic.
