I don't think he is retarded, but I do not think he is very mature for his age. He keeps stating he is a nice guy. Surely that is for others to judge, not himself. He doesn't seem to handle certain situations very well at all.

He's from the same area as me and just like everyone there that age the topics are strictly money, drugs or girls. Anything else and they're like a rabbit in headlights. He's certainly out of his depth with people like Julian in there. I'd have thought that coming out the area and going to different places would have helped him but it seems he's just the same one-dimensional vacuous person as the rest of them. I never thought I'd be discussing someone like Ashley, and I don't really want to, but he happens to be on the show I love but really there's nothing much to discuss, what you see is what you get. Like I've said before his inclusion is a total waste of housemate.

He said he was a trouble maker when he was younger and then he got into judo. Since he made the Olympics I assume that means he trained constantly. I know a lot of Olympians quit school and do home tutoring in order to have more training time. I assume he never really had the chance to mature socially and he's stuck at whatever age he was when he started. Every time he speaks that's what it looks like to me.
I don't think hes a bad guy but he is kinda hard to watch.
