The problem, Joey, is that it's grotesque, so I suppose you're right about the seaside postcard.

I think it's a case of acting in a way that's appropriate to your audience - both the people you're interacting with and, in this case, the wider, viewing public.

As a 52-year-old, I find that I think twice now about doing and saying some of the things I said and did as a younger, more attractive woman. Even though my husband is 15 years younger than me, I don't think I'm sending the right message if I behave in a crude or raunchy way towards him in public.

It'd be distasteful, as it is with Julie lusting over the young guys in the house.

She positively drools over Harvey like a bitch on heat and it's horrible to watch as it doesn't seem natural for a woman who's passed their sexual peak (and function) to act like that. She's like a stereotype of a dirty old man and that's horrible.

I could go with that if she was being serious but she isn't. she is having a laugh.
So I personally don't see anything inappropriate or horrible in what she is doing in the house.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it directly to me and responding to my post though and of course I fully respect the position you see this from albeit very different to my own perception of it.

A 70 year old woman makes sausy jokes with her friends is fine. I doubt anyone complains when she's joking around with Julian.

However she is a married woman. And those men, young men, were hired to do a job on TV. She took blatant abuse of that fact. Had martin done the same to the girl, would people be saying that it was funny? No.

The same woman who was pinching the ar*e of a young model then went on to spend her evening bitching about the "antics" of the younger women of the house.

Double standards?

You're very polite.

I think she IS being serious. Yes, she's doing it for comic effect and to pull the focus of attention to herself. It doesn't provoke much laughter for me, but does make my toes curl.

Thank you very much,I try to be polite.

It seems we both have strong differing perceptions of Julie though,I do admit to liking her before she went in to the BB house so am a bit biased I guess.
At least,(since we both see her differently),she does however give those who like her or dislike her plenty to talk about as to CBB.
