I think it's a case of acting in a way that's appropriate to your audience - both the people you're interacting with and, in this case, the wider, viewing public.
As a 52-year-old, I find that I think twice now about doing and saying some of the things I said and did as a younger, more attractive woman. Even though my husband is 15 years younger than me, I don't think I'm sending the right message if I behave in a crude or raunchy way towards him in public.
It'd be distasteful, as it is with Julie lusting over the young guys in the house.
She positively drools over Harvey like a bitch on heat and it's horrible to watch as it doesn't seem natural for a woman who's passed their sexual peak (and function) to act like that. She's like a stereotype of a dirty old man and that's horrible.

I could go with that if she was being serious but she isn't. she is having a laugh.
So I personally don't see anything inappropriate or horrible in what she is doing in the house.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it directly to me and responding to my post though and of course I fully respect the position you see this from albeit very different to my own perception of it.
