Something clearly not right about Adele. The other day I looked on her wall and saw I was listed as one of her friends. The account was created in late august of this year and I know for a fact that I have never tried to be-friend her - I didnt even know she was a member till last week - but I did be-friend Thomas C when he was on. Interesting. Could one of the mods please tell us whats going on? Has a banned members account been re-activated? Seems a bit pointless to let this member back but not others, dont you think?

Nope. I know for a fact this hasnt happened.

you sent me a friend request and as I was new I thought I'd better not upset other members by not accepting them, even though I didn't and still don't have a clue who you are.

As for this Thomson C b/s a couple of members have private messaged me saying that everytime a new member joins and posts in a non bb page they get accused of being some mental who got banned once.

Well I read the rules and no where does it say that you have to be member for a certain amount of time before you can post on none bb pages. This site seems quiet enough as it is (since cbb finished) and if you all keep attacking and try drive away new members (like you've done with me) then I don't see the site getting any busier.

I wish it was that easy, but yesterday I had one member post private photos of me on here without my permission! The mods deleted it (after I complained and about 5 other members reposted it) but obviously did nothing to punish the member cause they were posting afterwards about how funny it was!

I don't feel safe ignoring people

You can always just talk to the people you get on with. You seem like a nice lady. Don't let a few morons put you off. This is a great site and most of us are happy to see new faces.

Not really, I think it's true. I'm pretty sure plenty of members took that attitude when I was new and it didn't bother me. I stayed on the forum after all. There's members like Munchkins that have remained and made a great impact because they're likeable but there's tons of new members that just troll and post absolute rubbish.

Some take a while to settle in, and some continue being trolls until they are banned, I can think of a few members that where complete trolls when they joined that now fit into the forum well.

Fine, I worded it too harshly and exaggerated and I'm all for new members at the end of the day, but it's just a few that are so god awful that it puts me off the thought of new members joining.
