I have a very important announcement to make.

One of this year's finalists has decided to withdraw for personal reasons which I completely support and understand, therefore taking our list down to 49. There are two courses of action available to me here:

1) I utilise the nominations sent to me by Niall which I received moments after I announced the nominations were closed for Round 1, which would give another person 3 nominations to replace the withdrawing member.

2) I ask all of those who voted for the withdrawing member to give me another name and hope that this doesn't give us more than one person who has 3 nominations (because you all know who got 1/2 noms) - and then in the likely event that it does, post a public poll to see who gets to be #50.

What do you think? I'm leaning towards option 1) rather than 2) because it's easier. Also, once this has been decided upon, I'll be allowing anyone who has thus far voted to update their votes accordingly if they voted for the withdrawing member, or they wish to vote for the member who replaces them.

I think option 1 sounds much more straightforward... but then 2 might give the two I voted that Disneyland make it an extra chance to get through. I don't know!

The user in question who is withdrawing doesn't want a big fuss surrounding this, obviously you will find out who it is when a 50th user is selected to replace them but I promised to not make a big deal out of it and they wanted to make it clear that this isn't a withdrawal in a Claymores kind of way, so they are not to be lambasted for this decision! Thanks
