For whatever reason women head a large percentage of households in the UK.
I have huge sympathy for these women attempting to raise families so disadvantaged by un- enforced wage laws.

Ive already addressed your last point which is nonsense. how can you enforce wages laws on performance related pay/ commission jobs? You cant its up to how good the person is, how reliable the person is and also how dedictaed to the career they are long term. also have you studied why women are more likely to job hop and dont last in jobs on average as long as men? this doesnt offer employers much chance and costs them money to retrain people endlessly. why should employers keep spending thousands of their own money because female employees are on average less reliable? is this discrimination? no its fact, do your homework. stop preaching theory and look at the reality

If women get pregnant often to milk benefits, its up to them and the fathers to take care of those children. woman are luckythough as they know they can always fall back on a lifetime of benefits whilst getting Csa payments too. no wonder they have all the spending power and so little ambition

now while you pretend to be offended and pretend something Ive said is sexist which it isnt and whilst you continue to cruelly ignore all the male sufferings and suicides. Id ask you, how often has a women fixed your electricity in a power cut? how often has a women fixed your gas leak? how often has a women safed you or any of your friends and relatives from a burning building or cut you out of a car? how man women do you know who lost limbs in wars? how many women do you know who fix roads and tarmac them>? how many women do you know who build your walls, fix your roof, build your home? while youre thinking of a clever answer to avoid the question, Ill save you time, the answer is probably not far from zero

Well... here we have the crux of the problem, where I have tried to answer you with reasoned responses.
This post seems to be nothing but an attack on women in general..

..I don't really want to get into this thread too much..but there is just one thing I want to say with regards to education and males in the teaching profession....

..I've worked in education for many years...and on the whole, and certainly in my experience...boys get far more extra support and guidance than girls....the support is given where it is most needed and not to do with gender....

..and there are very few male teachers in primary schools...primary schools are not usually the career path of males...in all of the vacancies ever advertised in my school or any of the neighbouring schools..I could say that we've probably only ever had around 1 or 2% of male applicants...it is actually quite hard to move up from a primary school to a middle or upper school and that's the same for females as well....but of the very few applicants we have had....most of them have been offered to job first....but that's because they've been the right people and not because of gender....I wish there were more male primary school teachers, because they are a great asset...but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be where they think their future career lies..and they have to do what's best for them...

Actually thinking about it it is quite rare to see a male primary school teacher. However senior schools seem dominated by men, our school most certainly was, there was about 30 male teachers and 5 female. I wonder why that is.

..because it's the best route to think ahead and further their career Vicky...it's actually very difficult to step up from a primary school...and males just don't apply.. we've only got one male teacher..but actually he's a brilliant teacher...the children absolutely adore him....it is a shame there aren't more...

We only had one male teacher at primary school too and we all loved him. There was always one male and they tended to only stay a year...and then we'd get another man. The government have been trying to get more guys to apply to primary though so don't think it's descrimination, I just think guys prefer to work with high school children from the reports I have read on it.
