It would make the house feel so fresh having an upstairs. Not sure on the need for two sets of stairs though - couldn't the main stairs just also go to the left as well? (though the curved staircase looks much cooler)

Also like the idea of the book wallpaper - I'd go one further actually and actually have a bookcase full of fake books around the mirrors, though of course one book wouldn't be fake and trying to pull it out would unlock a secret door (to an X Factor tour rehearsal studio of course!)
