He has shown many indications that he's reformed. He's apologised, done charity work for domestic violence and has been forgiven by Rihanna. If the victim believes he's reformed then who are we to say he hasn't? I've lost count how many times she's said he's changed. He obviously still has his faults as he's been involved in other stuff but that's a separate issue and nothing to do with domestic violence.

If he hasn't changed though, do you really think he'd be stupid enough to throw away the career he's just got back? You may think he's abusive but he's not an idiot. I am 90% sure he won't hit her again.

None of the above show a reformed character. Sorry is only a word, and well done to him for doing some free-labour, must have hit him hard. And if Rihanna has forgiven him and wants to make it work, fair enough to her. That does not mean that anybody else has to believe that he is a new, stand up guy, because I personally don't. You only need to look back at a photo of her after she was beaten to know that it wasn't carried out by some lovely bloke.

Whether he was a nasty **** or not before has no relevance to this argument. Whatever the nature of the crime, people can change. It's not just prison sentences that change people. How do you know he wasn't truly sorry? What has he actually done post-incident to show he doesn't feel any remorse? What else is he supposed to do? I'm not saying he's a stand up guy, I'm just saying he's no longer a woman beater. People are being stubborn & I was a bit unsure too up until recently.

Did I say he isn't reformed? I said that in my opinion, he isn't. He hasn't done anything in particular that personally shows me this, yes people can change, and time will tell. But for him to do something like that in the first place.... how can it easily go away?

It's a sensitive subject if you fully know about domestic violence/abuse and have been part of or witnessed it repeatedly (like I have), partly because of this I don't have much sympathy, doesn't mean that I won't listen to his music or support him, I'll forgive but I'll never forget.

I am not in any way shape or form hoping that he hits her again, I hope to god that he has learnt from his mistakes. My point is is that people are far too forgiving just because Rihanna is. Woman (and even men) are abused day by day, yet the lesson learned from Chris/Rihanna's situation is that you can come out of it still being worshiped.

A rhinoceros that arrived in Israel last week to join the Ramat Gan safari has been named Rihanna, after the R&B star.

The safari announced on Tuesday that, despite having received dozens of suggestions from the public for Israeli names, the half-ton rhino will be called Rihanna, after the sexy Barbados-born performer. The name was proposed by one of the air-crew who helped fly Rihanna to Israel last Thursday from a game reserve in Pretoria, South Africa.

Safari spokeswoman Sagit Horowitz told the Times of Israel that Rihanna — the rhino — is doing well after her flight and is settling in nicely on a mixed diet of local food and supplies that came with her from Africa.

Rihanna — the singer — performed in Tel Aviv in May 2010, on her “Last Girl on Earth” European tour. She helped Scouts and volunteers in Tel Aviv paint the walls of a meeting center, and visited Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Western Wall, where she put a note in the cracks — possibly not asking for a rhino to be subsequently named after her.

The last rhinoceros to arrive at the wildlife park was also named after a singer, Israel’s Keren Peles.

Rihanna will be kept fenced off from the rest of her new herd until they become accustomed to her presence. If all goes well, the two-year old will join the rest of the safari’s rhinos in the coming weeks.
