Well again, I hope none of the above become widely distributed in the UK at all, it sounds absolutely dreadful to me.
I also have very little respect or faith in anything that comes form Ian Duncan Smith who I am surprised has anything to do with other peoples incomes at all.
Even the Conservative party wouldn't trust him to lead them into an election.

What works in one Country may not work elsewhere, I actually like the idea less after reading the 2 posts above.
Had I not already been opposed to the idea then I for sure would be now after reading that.
Sorry The Truth, we are on very different sides of this issue and I say again, I hope nothing like this is put into practice on a wide scale in the UK.

Its being brought in specifically for the most problematic families, where it is felt the benefits are simply not reaching the children, who are suffering malnutrition and a lifetime of poor health as well as being surrounded by smoking, booze dependency, drugs, workless families and all the social problems that come with that. This is aimed at assisting 120,000 families. It is essential for several reasons, mainly to try and improve the lives of tens of thousands of children who do not get fed and clothed properly, who suffer from malnutrition , smoke inhallation, which leads to addiction, chest problems, diabetes, behavioural issues etc etc

I am not interested in the anger of the parents, my concern here is purely to ensure child benefits reach the children. the fact these angry parents tell us they look after their children is not good enough. it is the children themselves who deserve a voice and deserve a chance for a better life.

as in the NHS we have this upside down for the past 15 years. we only ask the staff for their opinions yet ignore the patients, in this case we only ask the parents (because they are voters) and we ignore the children 9theyre the vulnerable ones who suffer and are powerless to change their situation)

we must change this false culture and serve the people we are meant to help...i.e the sick , the disabled, the children and the vulnerable.

If this happens, it wont be long before its extended to all benefits.

And again, if the parents involved are that dependant on booze and such, they will find a way to get their booze..people like that always do. And the easiest way to do that is to sell on the 'credit' that they receive.

You can get like Ł20 per month in vouchers if you have a child under 3(?)

It can be spent only on fresh milk, formula milk and fruit + veg
