I tend to agree that Pakistan is a long way from becoming a stable democracy. Having been ruled by the Military for most of its existence most Pakistanis are not used to having such democratic freedoms. Tribalism and sectarianism are rife and this is clearly seen given the high number of car bombs, suicide bombs etc..

Also the Taliban are fighting to take control also, so we end up with a highly volatile mix which could if not contained push the Country to all out civil war.

A very worrying thought given the Country has stockpiles of Nuclear weapons...!!!
