What is the obsession with a house tour

We've already seen it in pics and a virtual tour I'd rather they just crack on and get the housemates in.

I assume he'll no doubt voice over pre recorded clips or something I'd prefer Emma to go in and give us a tour though. Wouldn't it be great for her to start the show from the Diary Room chair! Although didn't her tweet say she was entering from the eye.
