Greg, I'd go with the General Knowledge idea... that way all the categories not covered thus far can be covered within it. It's a good idea to make Round 8 the final round though, because people can't necessarily commit to longer than that.

But, I've enjoyed it, and a lot of people have too, so if you are happy to do it, you could run a new one starting next week. We can make new teams for it, and you can say at the start exactly how long it will run... maybe have 25 questions per round, and each round only lasting 24 hours.. that way the whole thing could be done in just over a week.. like a mini-pub-quiz..

I think if you guys are all happy with the filter I've used to obscure the photos in this round (and the next round) then I'd use that from now on, if I were to ever run a pub quiz again. I think it would only be fair to let someone else have a go if they wanted to do it, but having finally (for now, anyway...) figured out how to get around Google's image search technology, I'd run one again for sure

Round 8 - General Knowledge

This round will remain open until Thursday 6pm, and is the final round of this pub quiz! The round is split up into 5 sections, with instructions as follows:

1-10: identify the animals by name
11-20: identify the video game character and the franchise they are from (you don't have to be specific, e.g. you could say Master Chief is from the Halo franchise and not name a specific game, if he were one of the answers)
21-30: identify the television program
31-40: identify the sport
41-50: identify the country by its outline, none of them are displayed as they would be on a map but all of them are countries connected to mainland, so none of them are island nations, to give you a helping hand!
