I don't believe people can change themselves that much. There are influences you can remove that will alter behaviour, like drugs or alcohol for example, but that aggressive streak towards a woman will remain there. I don't doubt he's done something similar before, and I seriously doubt he'll never do the same thing again.

I agree that he seemed like a decent guy, but we didn't get to see his whole make up. I'm not saying he should receive s**t for the rest of his life because of it, but it was wholly unacceptable behaviour that can't be skipped over.

Most people change when they have a drink,I myself have annoyed the OH when I have been a bit tipsy,none of us are perfect,Daley did wrong,he admitted it,lets hope he learns from it,the posts here about him being a wife beater etc are a bit ott,imo.

Okay I see your point but in Daley's defence he did ask Hazel to stop countless times. When she say "hug?" he would persistently say "go away" and "no" but she wouldn't listen. See Niamh, what I'm trying to say is that yes what he did was obviously wrong and he deserved to be removed for it. However, I feel sorry for him because none of this would've happened if Hazel hadn't consistently flirted with him in the first place, fully knowing that he had a girlfriend on the outside. He would've done much better sticking with the nice boys Callum and Sam.

He said no but he said no, you're arousing me, that is encouragement and not a no because I'm not interested. Had he said No Hazel i have a g/f, she would have stopped, putting any blame on her for his behaviour is wrong. Are we saying that men just can't be held accountable if there's an attractive girl around? What? He's a big boy and he was not manipulated, he went from having a g/f to not having a g/f cos he wanted Hazel to think he didn't have one.

he may well have the police knocking a his door after all it was assault!
daley only has him self to blame, it was not hazels actions but his reaction!
