I never said he was the youngest, I said he was impressionable. And while he is more than capable of deciding whom he wants to have a strong relationship with, the majority of the other housemates (along with the majority of the viewing public) find him to be dull, bland, and taxing in communication. He needs Callum as much as Callum needs him, although Sam's intentions are most-definitely more genuine.

The rest of the Hm's cant be arsed having a conversation with Sam because it is too much hard work for them,and if you mainly ignore someone you will think them dull & bland.
He has found someone who will give him the time of day & who will include him in conversations. I personally think it is a genuine friendship on both parts.
