I think she nominated Callum because she can sense something is not right with him. He is very controlling and manipulative. Notice how Callum nominated Charlie best friends Hazel and Dexter. He wants them out of the way to get her all to himself.

I watched the feeds. I'm no fan of Callum but it is very clear to me that Charlie has been a straight up back stabbing bitch! She seems to feel that she still deserves his time, his loyalty! Actually Hazel was at the bottom of the line and she could have used that argument they had if she really wanted to nominate her without looking bad. I would imagine Callum makes her feel uncomfortable and that's why she nominated him

I think his family are well off, but Dexter is just a normal guy. But he knows how to make money and has no problems financially.

I know Hazel was at the very bottom of the line but Callum was right next to her. I think you are deluded if you think Charlie could have nominate Hazel without looking bad. No that was not an option for her especially as she wants to be her friend outside of the house too. If Callum makes her feel so uncomfortable than she should stop hugging him. I'm not even a fan of Callum and I can see she wronged him!

And Callum is a threat? I really think you're reading far too much into that nomination tbh. I do sometimes feel a bit sorry for Callum and I'm not a fan of either him or Charlie but I know If I was in Charlies position Callum would make me feel uncomfortable just by the way he speaks to her, he talks to her and other people like they're children and that he's this fountain of wisdom that they most all sit there and listen to, his "conversations" usually don't involve the other person, he talks at them rather than to them
