I had a former internet friend who did this, too. I think he felt insecure in his own intelligence. The former internet friend was very manipulative and clever with words.

I quite liked Callum until I heard the conversation with Charlie where he told her she'd lost her biggest fan in the house. That whole conversation was redolent of former internet friend. Not good.

Callum's a control freak but now he only has Sam in his control. it is a symptom of his controlling nature that he works with children.
