Wouldn't bank on that formation. Moyes is currently played that outdated 4-4-1-1. Bad enough when Fergie played it.

Unless a midfielder is signed, Moyes will win nothing. Feel a bit sorry for David, mind. Inherits an embarrassing midfield and has a bunch of monkeys doing his negotiating.

Edit: Don't be so sure on youngsters being given a chance. Have seen quite a few Everton fans saying he didn't give youth as much as a chance at Everton as people think. That said, he has given the United youngsters a chance in pre season. However, that could be because;

1. A 9 year old provides more penetration than Ashley Young.
2. Our midfield is an embarrassment so has no choice right now.
3. Does infact intend to give youth a chance.

Would love a 4-2-3-1 with the youngsters played behind RVP. And hopefully a midfield destroyer signed or a deep lying playmaker besides Carrick.
