she got bully at school because of the way she look so had to be home school as the bullying was so bad

I'd imagine at 16 her parents would have had to give their consent, although how that protects young teenagers from idiot parents is beyond me

Yes she would have needed consent.

As to the other issue, a girl as young as 13 can marry, in the state of New Hampshire, with parental consent!

Bizarre isn't it!

She was on a US reality show called Couples Therapy with her husband and even though they were married they were not allowed to sleep in the same bed due to her age. She had to leave the house and sleep at a nearby hotel.

I've always referred to American "teen" programmes as the Land of the 30yr old teenager.

Because that's about the age of most of the actors playing teens!

I agree. My ideals of beauty have changed a lot since I was 18, so to have something so permanent done when you are still at an age that a lot of people are still working out who they are seems crazy.

Not to mention the fact that at 18, really no one should need surgery at that age as the body is still developing. And with youth on your side, it's a shame to waste it
