As with most aspects of Coven, I think the Axeman was a great idea but the actual execution of it was a complete failure. He should have been present from day one, a subtle menacing force in the Academy, before finally making his appearance and working with Fiona against the rest of the Coven, maybe setting up a storyline of Fiona torn between Cordelia who hates her and the Axeman who loves her, both trying to kill each other? idfk I should honestly just write this show. Hopefully they develop him a bit more in the last few episodes or just get rid of him.

I really enjoyed the new episode, I think this series is on an upswing now.

Myrtle continues to be my favourite character, she's an endlessly fierce bitch. I thought Hank's backstory was interesting although I think they should have gone into it a bit earlier since it turned him into a sympathetic plot device rather than a realised character.

The stuff with the Christian woman was meh, I think she's just another plot device, I reckon Nan will be the Supreme and her powers will reveal themselves when she takes revenge on the mother.

The ending was pretty well done, I'm glad that this boring 'war' is finally over since the threat of the Witch Hunters proved more interesting in one episode then the Witches vs Voodoo storyline did in nine.

Yeah the pillow kill was pretty obvious when she told him "go to sleep". I really liked this episode. Too many characters died that didn't need to though, Luke and (idk if she's actually dead, but I'm just gonna assume since she like shot herself in the face) Queenie Madame Lalaurie has been awful lately, but I still can't help liking her.

Why the ****** would a civil rights film showing black people being hose piped started to melt her heart? She used to torture and murder them continuously, but put it on telly with a gospel hit over the top and she sees the error of her ways? Bit ridiculous.

Good episode though, and it's really set up for some fireworks when it returns.

like I get they wanted a powerful scene but that was just stupid. If they really wanted to show her softening up, it should have taken a lot more actual interactions with Queenie and the Voodoos and black people in general. There's actually an undeniable racist undertone to this season itself and this episode in particular that revealed the producers'/writers'/society's prejudices in that EVERY black character bar Laveau was slain without so much as knowing their names aside from Queenie and Laveau and maybe some random hairdresser who did nothing. And OMG at Queenie and Laveau (Queenie especially bc cmon) not being in the titles is just ridiculous.

I know it's called "Coven" but I would have loved to have explored the Voodoo side maybe um... a little bit? Instead, the black characters were used as nameless pawns to ultimately develop the storylines of white people. Laveau better get some depth and backstory in the next few episodes (which I believe she will) or else this show is just really racist and that sucks because Asylum was all about tearing down prejudices and even helped warm my homophobic mother's crusty heart

I found the ending very emotional, not so much due to Delhpine's reaction but because there was a hard-hitting realisation that segregation happened in the world we live in, and it equality is still not at the point it should regarding society.

I totally understand why people would find it ridiculous; watching a decapitated head cry was too much for me too handle in itself.

Myrtle Snow and Misty Day are the queens of this season thus far. I love Cordelia and Misty's relationship.

She's a human voodoo doll, so if she died it'll be from Hank shooting her rather than her shooting herself in the head, I think they'll probably bring her back though

Yeah I got that part I just thought the music was kind of dramatic for a scene in which she doesn't die. It just gave off the feeling that she was dead for good.
