last point - can ed change labor - he needs some radical polices that hit you in the face - but i doubt he will find them.

i think that is why people are heading for the mas-sarge - i mean farage (nigel) as at least he is saying what he is going to change. you have to respect that.
I really hope Ed gets in, he may not be as charismatic as some but showmanship shouldn't be so high on the list of attributes when it comes to a PM.
