I always think it's nice when you see same sex couples holding hands in the street but then get really self conscious about not wanting to seem like I'm staring at them for the wrong reasons so either don't take a second look or smile at them so they know I'm not judging

When I lived in Germany I used to see lots of lesbian couples openly doing PDA on the main streets, it was a bit surprising but where I lived was a very multicultural sort of place so it didn't really seem odd
