I agree, the amount of food that is thrown out these days is scandalous, a lot of it comes from having freash food sold in Supermarkets as BOGOF (Buy one get one free) or BOGOHP (Buy one get one half price).

People don't really want this extra food and a lot of it is on or near to use by date so inevitably it ends up in the bin.
