James does look determined to try and control the Gary somewhat - but isn't looking like the stronger male here.

..no I think that's how I see it as well..an 'alpha' thing..'group behaviour' is often quite primitive I think...I'm not sure whether it's game play either, James does seem to be both quite judgemental and overly defensive to the point of 'attack'...hmmmmm...quite insecure maybe..?...

Yep, prior to BB I judged him as very defensive and quite uptight - and probably very insecure.

Doesn't mean I'm right of course.
