Thanks for all the comments on the thread I created. Obviously many of you disagree with my post but that is what these forums are for. As someone who was bullied for years and years I see it that if someone is able to stand up for themselves or can actually take it all and not go into meltdown its not strictly bullying. I in no way agree with the housemates treatment of Gary and I in no way agree with any kind of verbal attacks on someone or their character. I just think that bully is probably the most common word in all the forums related to Big Brother and in my own humble opinion its not warranted. Belittling someone is probably a more relevant word in my vocab but as I said thanks again for all the comments

Gary is not being bullied, he's just not liked by EVERYONE who's sharing a house with him day in day out, so lets do the maths on it and who's the wrong one ?

Do you think that a man that was accused of beating his wife can be bullied? or one that struck a flights attendant? or fought with co hosts? or got removed from celebrity rehab for being pyschical? and then theres the apprentice,do you serously think a man like this can be bullied?

He's excluded 24/7 is he? then how do you explain all the times we see him with people and interacting with people? or are you watching something completely different to everyone else?

ah the usual lies and gossip mongering to try and take down the best housemate and favourite. no doubt you profess we cant mention dee being a lazy lard ass because thats outside the house...to clarify in the house gary is a legend, awesome housemate, cool, calm, genuine, warm, funny, brave , forgiving, patient etc etc out the house hes also the biggest legend....lived an amazing life. his kids adore him....his career has been stupendous and his performances incredibly skilled and varied. hes also raise millions for his son with his helth problems...hes even a fantastic musician too....what a guy

What annoys me is the ease by which some people refuse to see what is happening, refuse to acknowledge the victimisation going on in the house, refuse to condemn the perpetrators, refuse to consider the effect such behaviour has on the victim.

Whilst simultaneously, harping on about how annoying it is to use a certain word that aptly describes such behaviour, a word that labels the perpetrators, a word that calls out for decent minded people to react against what they are witnessing, a word that should be the focus of most people's disgust and rejection of such behaviour.

Now which is easier; using "that word", or lecturing about why it should be used, when such behaviour occurs?
