Yes, I did miss your point, I didn't see the hand on the thigh as a sexual thing and you did.

I don't see the hugs as a sexual thing either.

I've seen him hug her, seen him lie putting his head on her shoulder - and hadn't seen it as a sexual thing developing.

So I could be totally missing the point and be too naive
