This forum has been much more vile than any of the housemates. All I've heard for the last 3 weeks is disgusting comments about the housemates that are disliked. Kelly the bad ******, dee the fat sponger, and James the obvious homosexual. It's so easy to be vile behind the safety of your anonymity. All I can conclude is that the majority of you are daily star reading 12 year olds.

By doing so, they become 'fair game' for those whose participation as viewers, ultimately pay for those 'fat fees'. If they choose to be vile and obnoxious during the time they are 'on show' to the viewing public, then they cannot complain when the viewers who are offended by that vile, obnoxious behaviour, become vile or obnoxious in their reactions. THEY are deserving of it, Gary Busey was not.

Well said, as we have given so have we received it all depends on who one supports. I love a good debate but sadly at times it isnt possible to debate. We are each entitled to our opinions and as such we ALL give them.

Interesting when viewed from different perspectives. As a Gary fan, I saw a huge number of threads and posts filled with nasty vitriol directed at Gary. It seemed the depths people would go to knew no limits.

I think its a general problem that people can get carried away when they invest so much time into following the show

I totally agree with you Chucky that is why I left the forums for most of the last week. I couldn't take downright awful comments about some of the housemates specially Edele. I have never in my life left the forums but this time I had to. I adored the series. One of the best. And many of the posters can argue their point about their favourite or least favourite housemates without resorting to horrible sexual innuendo but alas there are always bad apples in the barrel. Oh well onwards and upwards. I have made bad comments myself but never ever as vile as others have . Peace

I haven't been all sweetness and light in the forums and neither have most people but personal insulting horrible posts about housemates are never right and some were vile. He was apologising to me Calyman because I didn't like how he phrased his post which was in answer to a post I made. I am a Gary and Edele fan and was since the very start and I don't condone what the housemates said and did to Gary However I would not class Edele as a bully because even though she might have made a few snide remarks here and there she certainly took the time to talk to Gary and they had many nice chats together.

I didn't defend the behaviour of ANY OF the other housemates because I don't think they should have been defended. It was theirs to lose and they handed the winners crown to Gary on a golden platter the MINUTE they started criticising him just like Shilpa was handed it in her year. The main difference with Gary winning was that Gary himself was entertaining. I probably wouldn't have liked to live with him for the most of 4 weeks either 24 hours a day as his hygiene wasn't the best but they all got paid to go into that house so they should have bloody well been nicer.

Dee in particular was vicious in defeat and ignorant during Garys interviews but Edele never uttered that he SHOULDNT have won. She accepted that the public wanted him. There were times that Gary annoyed me just as there were times that Edele annoyed me but the hardest thing for me was here in these forums when a certain poster kept posting absolutely vile and sickening posts about a housemate who certainly certainly didn't DESERVE them. Up to the last week I was quite enjoying the forums. Unfortunately I didn't know about the ignore button otherwise I would have stuck around every day the final week. Anyway I hope to return to the forum in January as the BB and CBB forums are the only ones I participate in. Peace

For me, there were a lot of comments that were way over the top against all of the housemates, and it happened on the main BB too. I think we need to have a constant reminder displayed that its only a tv show, meant for some light entertainment

I agree with you and Chucky. I left the forums more than a week ago. More to do with the horrible, nasty comments made to and about other posters. DS was even worse and I have vowed never to return to that site let alone the forums ever again! Peace to you too.

I agree that some people get a little bit insulting with name calling....but it's no good having a go at people then insulting them in your last sentance. Pot..kettle..black.
