The thing here is,he has done something no other PM ever has,it is not just the talking about deatial of a private conversation with the Queen but that by it, he has given away her position on the referendum too.
If he cannot be trusted to follow all governmental rules correctly, while this isn't the crime of the century, it does show he is not really up to the job as PM material too, especially as to discretion,which also is a trust issue.

To be fair, she herself "hinted" at her position in a quite opaque manner several weeks before the referendum.
But then, I fully believe that David Cameron not only gossiped about his private conversations with her - I think he embellished or straight out made it up... no doubt in an attempt to brag to this elite capitalist tycoon about how close his relationship with the Queen is. It's just... sad. I very much doubt she did "purr" down the phone at him
