Epic Fantasy - "Homeland" by R. A. Salvatore ( Start of the Dark Elf Trilogy) Fantasy/Horror - "The Painted Man" by Peter V. Brett (Start of the Demon Cycle) Fantasy - "Edge of Destiny" by J. Robert King Okay Fantasy, Thriller, Young-adult fiction - "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel: The Magician" by Michael Scott (Start of a Series) I'm sure there's more but I just woke up and I can't think. I don't really know what genre you like but I've mostly read fantasy.
