My guess is he's banking on a coalition.
What the Conservatives and David Cameron in particular don't realise is the fact that while most voters don't particularly want a Labour Govt.they most certainly equally,and greater so,don't want a Conservative one.

There will I am sure in the 2015 election be votes going all over the place against the Conservatives and Lib Dems in the hope of securing their defeat.
If only the voters would grasp,since they hate this coalition Govt so much, the only way to effectively shift them out of power is to vote Labour.

Equally so to Labour voters or sympathisers, if they vote UKIP for whatever reason, then they too risk a return of the Conservatives or even worse a Conservative/UKIP coalition.
A combination so disastrous,in my view,that would make this present coalition look like a bunch of teddy bears in comparison.
