A video purporting to show the killing of US aid worker Peter Kassig by Islamic State in Syria has been posted on the internet.

The footage has not been verified.

The former soldier was threatened at the end of a video showing the beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning in October.

Mr Kassig, a 26-year-old from Indiana, was taken hostage in October 2013.

I can imagine it, and it's not as quick as people think. time slows down when you are in shock, i imagine most people being beheaded know exactly what is happening.

It is one of the cruelest forms of execution. They must suffer immensely.

I echo your post and also Lostalex's too, I have just got not a scrap of patience as to these things,they should not exist, they should be firmly cast out of the Islamic religion by those in authority in it and not just have the lip service of condemnation that is flowing at present.

I agree with every word of your post and I would like to share with you something I heard recently which shows the absolute breathtaking arrogance of the Islamic faith.

Muslims believe that everyone born on this planet is born a Muslim and either loses that faith or turns away from it for whatever reason.

As such they refuse to use the word convert when discussing people converting to Islam, instead they use the word revert which implies everyone starts out as Muslim and if they return to Islam they are a revert not a convert.

All people who do not revert back to Islam or who convert to other faiths are eligible for extermination in the eyes of this wonderful caring loving faith.

I don't see this faith as a proper faith, one that preaches love,tolerance and understanding. Rather I see it for what it actually is.

A nasty,vile,evil, loathsome cult that seeks to spread fear,hate,violence,war all sanctioned from above from their make believe demonic God.

I sincerely believe we are all being hoodwinked and brainwashed by the powers that be into accepting these creatures as just another religion.
