tbh fair enough. This seems like a lot to most of us, but if you had an equal amount going into each state thats literally only 100,000.

why aren't they going into Canada or Russia then, Russia and Canada have much more land mass, so why shouldn't Russia and Canada be taking all these immigrants then?

and Europe(the EU) is actually a larger economy, so why aren't they taking more immigrants?

Quite simply because Canada and Russia do not boarder Mexico. And just because we have "land mass" in Canada, does not mean it is free for anyone to take. All the habitable and producible land is owned and used. Immigrants don't just get put in the middle of a mass of land to do as they can.
For the record, Canada has a relatively high rate of immigration.

In regards to Canada - no idea at all. Great country.

Russia, maybe not so much. Many consider Putin a dictator and his laws unfair, that may be a reason why.
