I still disagree, don't get me wrong I think Nadia was really inflaming the situation last night but I get the comparison she was making on that one thing. Kens attitude was to blame the girl, feel sorry for the poor guy which is wrong and it did sound very much like that whole "oh she deserved to be raped because of what she was wearing" His attitude towards women and their role in life seems extremely primitive and very sexist, this was demonstrated a number of times by a number of comments, the worst being (imo) what he said to Chloe about Jeremy being a movie producer or whatever and she basically should have let him do what he wanted so she might further her career

I'm not trying to defend Ken and his statement, don't get me wrong. But that comment you took such offense to is not breaking the law, you may not agree with it, but he is perfectly entitled to say it. This is the danger with PC related topics. It suffers from scope creep where things get added to the bucket that is "not correct to say", and before we know it, people can't say anything any more.

I never said it was against the law, I said it was incredibly sexist as I am perfectly entitled to say also.

He can say what he wants. Just as people can comment on his outdated, disturbing views.

Go in to work tomorrow and tell the women at work that to get ahead in their job they should be willing to accept sexual advances or comments from men in positions of power. Then report back here.

On the comment about the movie producer ken was completely inappropriate. I agree with you on that. I don't agree that thinking she was probably silly to be alone in the toilet with someone very drunk is saying she deserved it. No situation is black and white. I have some sympathy for both of them because it was clearly a spur of the moment drunken mistake that was upsetting for her and is going to publicly haunt him for a long time. What it wasnt from what I saw and heard was some kind of predetory attack.

I actually agree with the BIB, what my main gripe here is though, is people blaming Chloe for any of it or saying she milked it or purposely acted the way she did to get him kicked out, that's unfair imo
