I disagree elliebrew. I believe that those who cannot see Perez's childlike behaviour as endearing are blinded. To me, those people are souless with dead-eyes.

Did you not see Perez run to hug Emma as though she was some 'authority saviour'. He is like a puppy dog that keeps getting kicked and spat at, but what makes him special is his ability to still believe in himself and know that he is an OK person. A bit hyper, yes. Irritating as hell, yes. But almost every argument he has had has been Perez defending himself against a nasty dig, or a nasty remark, or a snide comment. Perez just comes right back in his clumsy way, that I find rather endearing.

Leave Perez alone.
