I would recommend talking to her less and spending less time than her until it naturally progresses to a time where you don't talk to her at all. In that time you should find a new, better group of friends.

If she continues to be unkind towards you (the dog comment is just sick) then I would tell the school because the chances are she is not just being mean to you but others. Perhaps there is something wrong with her personal life?

Thank you Pete and I'm going to cut her out of my life I think. I'm moving forms anyway on Monday I told my head of year that I had nobody to talk to in form so he's moving me to a form with my actual friends in. I have quite a few groups of friends it just hurts me that she's turned into this person as we used to be like best friends only twelve months ago.

I don't know about her personal life but I have problems also if it continues I may tell my head of year.
