What poll are you looking at? The "majority" of voters have currently voted yes. If you want to lecture people on definitions, I suggest you look up the meaning of "majority" first.

Of course, that could change as Marc is an extremely marmite housemate, but that's how it currently stands.

True, I meant like 75/85%.. Edited my post. Just over half the people does not make him a great.

Still, I think what makes a classic housemate to the individual is subjective, there are housemates commonly branded as legends who I don't particularly care for and find overrated. I don't really see it as a matter of fact, but rather personal opinions.

Nah, you're saying he's a legend because you like him and because slightly more than half agree that he should have the status, I'm saying a legend is almost always unanimously thought to be so, I can't think of a single example inside or outside of BB where this isn't the case. 55% is just good-ish, and I can agree with that.

I voted to get rid of her in her original BB, and it doesn't matter how many times she is wheeled out to our TV screens she will not be a legend to me.

Being a great requires the majority of viewing public to consider them as such. I may be in the minority with Nikki, I don't actually know, but the evidence was clear as day on Friday that Marc cannot be considered great.

How can you not comprehend what I'm saying. Of course he's a legend to me because I like him. He's a legend to others as well, so the fact you keep going on about percentages blah blah blah is pointless.

He could be a legend to 1% and that 1% would still regard him as a legend, no matter how it compared with other so called legends.

She survived 3 evictions before eventually going. Amazing for a person that over the top to achieve that. She should never have been up that week either. And had she been with Jayne, she'd have survived again.

Marc was evicted because it was vote to evict and he generates enough opinion, one way or the other to get people voting. The others are all bland, beige characters that no-one cares about.

Long gone are the days when people would pick up the phone to vote against someone else to save their favourite - in-fact so few people vote regardless nowadays we always end up having the prize fund reduced because cash hasn't been generated by the phone lines in recent years.

Like him or not Marc is by far the most memorable character from this year, hating him doesn't change that despite all the petty comments here.

Get real-Marc did more in one day than most of these so called legends did in 3 months.He caused more drama in his first couple of hours on the show than most can muster in a series. Cant think of any real dramatic moments that Nikki,Ashlene or Below were responsible for at all. And back then people could watch them 24/7 on the red button in some series.
