It hasn't been announced yet and if it has I doubt they will announce it that soon. For the original run ten years ago they announced a Series 2 like in November of the same year.

I hope it does, though. I found it really fun viewing. The ratings weren't great, but it had a lot of media attention and it trended on Twitter every night as well.

Not sure. I really wouldn't be surprised if it is axed again, TBH. But I really hope it's back next year. Especially if BB17 is going to be awful. As LI was the only thing I actually watched this summer as I gave up on BB this year after 4in4out.

And a lot of these “Essex” people on TOWIE appear to be from Margate or somewhere else away from Essex.
