Val of course.
Here she is, Gob o' the North and she doesn't tell the fireman that a shard of glass is hanging precariously above her head. She managed to free her hands enough to have her final fag so why didn't she use them to try and save herself. ![]() As to real blame, well it was simply an accident. Tragic. |

I thought it a poor end to the storyline that firstly, she didn't mention the glass hanging. it was a maze of mirrors and the emergency services would have always also checked for any seemingly immediate danger from anywhere. So secondly, they would have checked to make sure Val wasn't bleeding from anywhere and also quickly assess the situation too. |
