Banned fireworks
Mortar Shells: all fireworks of the "aerial shell"/"mortar shell" type, which launch single, large projectiles into the air where they explode to create effects - are Category 4. This was as a result of the deaths in 1996 of Stephen Timcke and David Hattersley who were killed by mortars on successive nights.
Mini-rockets, bangers, firecrackers, fireworks of erratic flight (including jumping fireworks) were banned in 1997.
In 2004 the definition of mini-rocket was further restricted, and airbombs were also banned, in an effort to stop anti-social behaviour involving fireworks.
I will NOT detail further Law concerning 'Safety Zones' and 'Fall Out Zones' because I am intelligent enough to recognise futility when I see it.
Incidentally, I do NOT need the police - believe me - I can sort ignorant bastards like these out myself - one on one, or with 'My Gang' if a gang of ignorant yobs is concerned, and believe me, MY gang are bigger, tougher, and more lethal.
But that would be breaking the law though, wouldn't it?

Types of fireworks are banned, yes. I know this. But as long as they aren't causing harm and, as you say, are kept to firm zones, then there shouldn't be a problem. People who want to enjoy fireworks
and comply with the law should not be penalised because of these said yobs. Instead, these said yobs should be penalised. So call the bloody police.
