Nothing is as transparent as Cowell's vomit-inducing adoration of Cheryl Fartgas-Verandah Cole. He seems to gain some sort of gratification by just having his extended arm gripping her chair even.

But, yeah - I think Nick is in love with Mason too. Which is why the shows basically shet and not about real talent.
