First time I even heard her name was last week.

I gather she's an actress. BIG DEAL.

Why are people getting 'excited' about her???

Can someone explain why she is apparently so popular.

I thought you meant Cheryl Fartgas Verandeh and had spelt Geordie wrongly. Never heard of Jorgie.
