The light sabre can easily block blaster shots though.A trained Jedi or Sith is much more deadly than a whole platoon of Storm Troopers.

Its a bit of a misleading title. She isn't getting death threats because she doesn't like star wars, she's getting them because she's personally insulted other people for liking it. Should she get death threats for that - no of course not, but this happens online constantly in all areas of fandom, has nothing to do with star wars This story is basically "woman insults people online, gets online abuse for it". Does this not happen every day?

Again though, she didn't receive threats because she doesn't like star wars, she received them because she insulted people. If you're going to insult people publicly then of course there'll be an online backlash. Like I said, it's not right but it happens all the time and has absolutely nothing to do with not liking star wars.

..I just watched a bit of the vid on this, I agree with Arista that the show seemed light-hearted and she's a comedienne ...hers was also a balance opinion to the other guests who love Star Wars so probably intentionally OTT for all of those non Star War fans who she would be appealing to and who would probably have found her funny...just silly to take it so seriously and post death threats or any type of threats, there are some crazies out there...
