Don't you reach a stage though when the constant arguments are just not entertainment anymore? I never saw what was so entertaining about an argument anyway. We've seen it all before. I just find it annoying now when I hear charley speak.

Must be completely honest (and I am NO Charley fan) Chanelle is my most disliked now and Id rather see her gone than Charley after this week

Right now its more the thuggish, "get her out" kind. Like the ones in the eviction crowD!
‘Logically’ nowsthebturn, how is calling people here “thick” or “thuggish” not an insult?! Regardless of whether they have heard the title or not, this is hardly a measure of how intelligent someone is. If you are using that as a measure of intelligence, I would say it was you that was ignorant.

As it is, you are on a big brother forum and people are bound to talk about who they like or dislike. This does not make someone thuggish.

That's the whole point! Charley's stopped arguing, unless someone goads her into it (Gerry, Brian, Chanelle).

It's the hatred for Charley from Chanelle and Gerry and Zach fancying her, which creates the entertainment in friction and tense atmosphere; even more so if Chanelle and Charley have two new housemates to squabble over, on Friday.

Chosen one,. You are not as smart as you think you are. You see things in a much different way then most people do. You might have fancy words to try to get your point accross but the reality of the situation is you like charley and what she brings to the house (friction ect.) Thats fine,. everyone has a right to their opinion.

What I see you doing here is simply acting smug about it. Like your opinion is the only one that should count. Some people root for the bad guys (like you and nowsitburns or whatever his name is) And some root for the good guys.

In my honest opinion Charley has definately brought entertainment to the bb house this year but I still hate her guts (As I have from day one). Her personality is a smidge away from being sociopathic and she deserves to be evicted and forgotten. And I dont believe other housemates are trying to bring arguments out of her. she brings it on herself. Some of the housemates have just plain had enough (Righfully So)

You cant pull the jedi mind trick on me dude.

P.S I like your new avatar

I can assure you Kieth, I am not under the impression my opinion is the only one that counts. I am trying to raise a very valid point about the role Charley plays in the house dynamics. Many people don't realise it and keep saying things such as "I don't like Charley's arguing" and "why is arguing so entertaining?"., but arguing is not what's important, it's tension. Charley creates tension in the house and is like a "spanner in the works" of the manipulative housemates. She could eventually make them see their weaknesses and become better people.

If Chanelle can overcome her hatred for Charley, whilst Charley is there, would that not be worth it, for Chanelle's sake?

I'm not raising this point necessarily because I "like" Charley, but because the Anti-Charley mob are consumed by their hatred and cannot see things as clearly as someone who doesn't subscribe to the hatred. As you admit yourself....

Also Kieth, you've already explained to me your idea of rooting for the "good guys" is supporting Chanelle and Zach. What makes you so sure they are the "good guys"? (another topic, of course)

As for your accusation of using a Jedi mind trick to suit a selfish cause? A Jedi would not do such a thing.

I agree with you, but equally something has to give. BB may well be mind-numbingly boring from Friday night onwards, but if she's not evicted then she'll probably end up being removed before too long, anyway. Arguments are fine, because they're part of life and show us the sides of the hm's they'd rather keep hidden. But constant arguments, and the tension that lingers after they've fizzled out, aren't fun to watch at all.

I agree, these aggressive, pointless arguments are just annoying, but Charley and Chanelle are at loose ends and I thought, eventually, they might work things through and learn to see eye to eye. For that to happen, they clearly need to be together airing their differences and tackling the issue; that's where the story is, in my opinion. Whatever these new additions bring to the house, if Charley and Chanelle are still together, I'd imagine the gameplaying will step up even more, too. Who knows, it may bring them closer together?

To just remove Charley so Chanelle can forget her hate is meaningless, no-one's learnt anything and there was no point in us putting up with all those arguments in the first place.

Anyway, I've explained my point as best I can now, I'll leave it there.

I think it will be a real shame to see Charley go, yes she has been at the centre of most arguments, but dont you think that certain other HM's realised quickly they could wind her up and use her as a way of being noticed!

I think the arguments will still be there without Chraley, Carole and Chanelle are equally capapble of creating uncomfortable situations for the rest of the house!
