He has to cut Cass at some point and the longer she stays the more of a risk he's taking. If he keeps Joel for F4 he's a much bigger threat than himself and there's a far better chance whoever uses the Veto evicts Joel over him, whereas if Cass is there she gets taken to F3

If nothing else this is a fascinating endgame!

Did you not read the tweets? It sounds like he and the brothers were helping each other, why would he be doing that when he's supposed to be working with Cass? I'm aware it was the only chance for the brothers to go up...I was the first person to hope for it as soon as Kelsey's HoH was announced but if he won it and left the noms the same that's even worse than the current scenario so no thanks

I did and Tim thought it was to get him out (which would have been good since Joel was meant to win anyway) Joel could have felt he had a better shot against the brothers whatever the comp was. He's more loyal to Cass than Tim but that doesn't mean it's his best option for F2, I think he'd still beat her but it's a much certain win against the brothers or Kelsey

I want to see this veto comp before making a judgement but my theory is that Phil is much easier to beat than Tim. Tim isn't bad at comps like Phil is.. (his veto win can be won by anyone) But even if he was I do feel he would still use it on Cassandra. They need to talk to Joel rather than turning against him. Joel wanted to win this veto really really really bad and it was important for him to do it.
