I don't really care about the price. The money would just be used on a cheaper alternative as I only see the one more signing. It is spend the money on Pogba or leave it for the Glazers. I know which I would prefer.

Tbf to Wenger i'd still take Xhaka over all those signings in that list. Kante & Mkhitaryan are the only ones that i'm jealous off. We needed Xhaka as much as a we need a new striker, will judge Arsene when the windows shut.

Agree we needed Xhaka more than a striker but we were comfortably lowest scorers in the top four last year, scoring as many goals at home as relegated Newcastle. We need a stiker soon; so disappointed we didnt make a better bid for Batshuayi, he's exactly the type of striker we need.

Wenger is already behind the other managers inthe window; he needs three or four signing to redeem himself IMO and I cant see him signing one more never mind three or four.

I've kinda learnt to accept Arsenes transfer policy, i don't always agree with it from a fans point of view but i can understand the way he goes about it.

There's too many unproven and risky players being priced or transferred these days from clubs who slap huge price tags on them. Those Ighalo and Deeney fee's are good examples. If you stick around and wait for some of the bigger clubs to make a big signing that makes way for someone to leave, Ozil and Alexis in this case for fee's that look like bargains atm. It's a clever move when it's pulled off but the frustrating part is that you're waiting around for something that might not happen and because it's worked before i think he see's that as his only way to sign high profile players now, he won't spend big on a player who isn't up for sale.

I accept this is our transfer policy but I dont like it. I dont think it takes the club anywhere. I think we need a re-thiink in many areas particularly our transfer policy. Whilst it may seem like Vardy turned us down and other fans will make jokes about "Vardy turning you down" it's deeper than that. He wasn't guaranteed a starting role which was the main factor but he's at a club where he's claimed legendary status if he see's out his career there which is nearing the end. He's not looking to leave a struggling club to achieve more somewhere else either, he's got no reason whatsoever to leave. It's not Arsenes fault though, i think it's a bit harsh on him to say Vardy wouldn't have turned down Fergie when Arsene is part of the reason Ozil and Alexis joined. We could attract nearly any player we wanted but if they don't want to leave due to loyalty then theres not much more to it really

Obviously it could mean **** all but it does fit together

This rumour is building up and yes his wife is his agent. Some think she's trying to get him a better deal at Inter. Personally, I' welcome him at Arsenal. We need options up front and he's probably an upgrade on what we've currently got.
