hhhmmm both the original series and the film didn't do great, the story is a bit stupid too imo, not too excited for this

Oh I thought the original series was meant to be really highly regarded. I remember loving the film when I saw it, but then watching it again a couple of years ago and thinking my god! What was I thinking lol! It's funny when you go back to things you loved as kid and realise how stupid you were

Well I never watched it but it was cancelled after 3 seasons due to low ratings so I assumed it must not have been that good

Lots of good shows can be cancelled early.

Firefly, Jericho, The Fades, The Chicago Code, Star Trek: Enterprise just to name a few.
