Yeah we could have suprise Christmas birth then as she could go into labour a few weeks early as the baby would be due the start of January

If this doesn't happen they have missed a huge opportunity, Like Denise could have the baby but then stuggle with looking after it, So she turns to drink.

Not forgetting the fact that, since she wouldn't know she's pregnant, she'd drink (because she's pretty much an alcoholic) so the baby could be harmed in the process. It's a shame they haven't really addressed Denise's obvious drinking problem and turned it into a storyline and not just a plot device, because her potentially harming her baby would be the ultimate wake up call.

Yeah like the baby could be born with problems which have been caused by her drinking throughout the pregnancy. But with Denise's personality would it be a wake up call or would it make her just go to the bottle even more??

I don't think it would make the situation worse. Possibly harming a baby, I imagine, would be the biggest wake up call you could get - it's putting someone else's life at risk for your own mistakes. I think she'd be haunted by drink if this was to happen.
