You don't know the circumstances of anything entirely. But you do know Georgina made a point of Evelyn going with a married man.
Apparently somebody being a moody cow offends some people here more than the stuff people like Evelyn or Jayne have done in their lives, which might just explain why some in the house have such a negative attitude towards them.
